Experience architect + provocateur

Hi, I’m Rena.

An experience seeker with a habit of turning “wouldn’t it be fun if…” into actual plans.

I’ve spent my life bringing friends and strangers into whatever curious adventure I’ve dreamed up. House of Her gives that instinct a name, a home, and a wider invitation.

How could we make this ordinary thing a little more creative, playful, or provocative?

How I got here

01

I followed my curiosity.

Craft nights. Metal concerts. Immersive theatre. Naked bathhouses. Writing circles. I kept saying yes to things that intrigued me and sometimes made me a little nervous. Each experience gave me a chance to try on a different way of being, and discover something I hadn’t known about myself.

02

I started bringing people along.

Friends, friends of friends, people I’d just met. I loved sharing the strange, wonderful things I found, and dreaming up adventures of our own. A little like improv for life: playful, ridiculous, messy, honest. I wanted more of it, and more people to share it with.

03

Now I’m making the invitation wider.

House of Her is where all those ideas get to come out and play. I bring my experience as a teacher, event planner, and facilitator to gatherings I’m excited to be part of myself. I’ll be your host, and I’ll be right there with you: creating, exploring, and probably trying something for the first time, too.

What I bring to the room

Event Planner & Executive Coach

10+ years designing and facilitating events for Google, YouTube, agency partners, and executive teams.

Teacher

Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in education. Five years teaching high school English, writing, and debate.

Personal Trainer

NASM-certified fitness trainer since 2007. Lover of heavy weights, program design, and empowering women to feel stronger and sexier in their skin.

Mother

I brought my daughter into the world at home, unmedicated, with incredible Brooklyn midwives. Now I’m raising a fierce little woman on curiosity and play.

Rural Roots & City Living

Raised in rural Georgia before the internet, I know the sweetness of a simple life. After years living in Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Brooklyn, my soul craves the creativity and freedom of the city.

Corporate Fluency

Logistical know-how and the very real juggle of a full-time tech job, motherhood, friendship, and building something of my own.

Erotic Explorer

Monogamy, open relationships, being a third, solo polyamory, BDSM, all things kink. Forever allowed to change my mind.

Experience Seeker

Bungee jumper, motorcycle rider, bathhouse junkie, sewing club regular. Some weeks, all of the above.

Forever Beginner

Still seeking, still experimenting, still meeting new parts of myself.

Get on the list

New experiences take shape as inspiration strikes. Be the first to hear.
